The Machinegun is one of the three starting weapons available in Quake Champions

A weaker variant of the Heavy Machinegun, it is only available through being chosen as a starting weapon. Like all starting weapons, this weapon cannot be dropped from enemies.

Strategy[ | ]

  • Use the shotgun with champions who want to get close to their enemies to synergize well with their playstyle, such as Clutch, Scalebearer, or Anarki.
  • Same as with the Super Shotgun, aiming well is extremely important due to the low rate of fire.
  • Starting with only 10 shots, you'll likely only be able to kill one or two enemies before running out of ammo. Find another weapon as soon as possible.
